{Magic of the Mundane}

Today, I am joining Sofia over at Sofia's Ideas for Magic of the Mundane. I so love this idea because it totally falls in line with my desire to get back to simple. It can be a picture, a poem or song, a short video or anything else that celebrates the Magic. So often, we get caught up in "where we're going" that we forget to look at the beauty of "where we are."

The picture is because I just couldn't resist.  I mean, come on, let's face it -  that is just too dang cute!  I couldn't get those cats to do that again if I tried! What I'm celebrating today is you - my readers, my followers and my friends - because you are so wonderful and understanding.  I try to keep this a pretty positive place.  I try to take the not so great and find a funny spin to it.  I try, but sometimes my optimism escapes me and I just get plain ol' frustrated. You allow me those moments.  No judgement, just support and understanding.  You know that at some point every mama has to "get it out" and you let me. So thank you for that.  Thank you for the support, the kind comments and for being there.  Thanks for being the magic that keeps me coming back and making all this feel worth while.  Have a great week!

  1. I LOVE the cats! They want to spin so badly, or they want what you have spinned so badly :D

  8. Don't you just love it when you are actually able to capture those moments? I'm rarely ever quick enough to get those "Kodak Moments"! ;0
    Melissa, isn't amazing how supportive the blogosphere can be? When I was going through postpartum, it was here that I found support and comfort. I'm glad we found each other!
