Isn't it gorgeous? My dear sister sent it to me for my birthday. She also admitted that she gave it a test drive....you know, just to make sure it worked and she can happily say that it kept the kitty hair off her yarn. However.....
The same can't be said for me. The funniest part is that the kitty hair on the yarn belongs to her cat Piggy! It came all this way just for me. Piggy wanted to be part of the celebration as well. Works for me!
I just love it that your birthday celebration is continuing!!!! Great (no GREAT!!) yarn bowl!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat bowl is awesome, I've seen those yarn bowls. I'm sure if I had one it would fall off the table and break when I pulled on it and a knot formed in the yarn, that happens all the time with my yarn! Gorgeous yarn in the bowl too! All my projects have some kind of cat or dog hair in them.. lol! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteNice gift! Sisters are for keeps :)
ReplyDeleteLove the yarn bowl - I need to make me one! x
ReplyDeleteI love that you are having a month long celebration!
ReplyDeleteGreat gift from your sister [and Piggy]!
Such a wonderful gift. And enjoy your birthday month :)
ReplyDeleteYou could just knit them right in to whatever you make!
ReplyDeleteI love it! And, the kitties need to share the birthday love, too! :-)
ReplyDeleteBelated happy birthday! I agree, celebrate for a whole month.
ReplyDeleteHAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY lovely, I hope you do celebrate the whole month :) I love your yarn bowl, did giggle at the cat fur, I have crocheted cat fur into a few projects....just spreading the love.
ReplyDeleteIt is the simple things that we love the most when it comes to our kids, I love your sons message, I always love the words on the cards from my kids.
