So I'm finally home.....It was a wonderful trip. So much fun. I've tried to keep up with everyone, but leaving comments from the phone was a bit tedious....so sorry about that. I might not have left words, but I was there in spirit...now back to the real world...Ugh!
I know I paint a pretty picture when I talk about this trip and how wonderful it is that the children and adolescents get along so well, but they truly do. I sometimes wish that the "littles" were a bit older so they could do more with the older ones, but looking back, I'm actually glad that they aren't. It's so amazing to watch these teenagers who are so willing to be with these young ones. They play with the babies, take care of them, watch them and totally adore them. It gives me so much hope and happiness...and such sweet moments when they think no one is looking.....

Little cousins are so cute... |
|
When they want to feed you gold fish |
|
Let you steal kisses and snuggles |
|
And just let you hang out |
These are the moments that I'm going to miss the most. They are all growing so quickly. Before I know it, the little ones won't be so little. But the greatest reassurance was that every last one of them is looking forward to doing it again next year. If you hear that funny noise, don't worry. It's just my heart swelling.
I love this.... we go as a family (have for a few years) and hope to continue forever!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing older cousins with younger ones it makes for a very balanced trip! I bet you will be thinking back to that vacation often because it looks fabulous! Welcome home!!
ReplyDeleteCousin love is the absolute best!!! Great to have you back, it looks like you had a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteSo so fun! And many memories made, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteWe only get all our "people" together every other year.....so , of course, I'm insanely jealous that you have another family beach together time to look forward to so soon!!! Those were such special "intergenerational" pictures!! Love it!!! (Yep, I heard that heart swelling!!!!!)
ReplyDeletei love this. love seeing bigs and littles showing their fondness for each other and hope it continues for a long, long time for you.
ReplyDeleteSome gorgeous moments you have captured there. Jacinta
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing sweeter than to see cousins and family enjoying time together. For some reason none of the kids of my siblings (including mine) seem to have bonded as cousins. It's one of the sad things in my life. My cousins were all just a great pack of fun - I don't know how our kids got off track. ::shrug:: So.. good for you! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteWelcome home! Looks like an amazing trip (and what sweet photos)!
