Then last night, the clothes dryer went kaput. I'm sure that this is something that Car Guy can fix, but it is an annoyance because we aren't allowed clothes lines in our neighborhood. So it's either not do laundry, do laundry at my Mom's house or ask a neighbor if I can use their dryer. On a happy note, I'm very fortunate in that I have wonderful neighbors who would let me use their dryer and my Mom lives close enough that if I absolutely had to, I could go over there.
My biggest fear is that things typically happen in threes...have you noticed that? So I'm sitting here waiting for the other shoe to fall and worrying about something that hasn't happened yet. I hate that sense of impending doom. It goes totally against my normal nature.
Well thanks for listening to me gripe. I'll have a little cheese to go with this
Just found your blog through Ravelry. Thanks for all your kind comments on mine :-)
ReplyDeleteI know all about making the mistake at work that costs money and could snowball. I have done that myself, and it is a terrible feeling. The worst thing is, it's usually (for me) an honest but totally avoidable careless mistake that results from me being pulled in too many directions at once and not STOPPING to think it through.
It's cliche but true: THIS TOO SHALL PASS. And it will. The world won't stop turning, and before long, you'll be looking back on this mistake - in your past, not in your face :-)
Hang in there!
Thanks Erica!
ReplyDeleteOh my, do I know that feeling and also the one where the boss makes the mistake but puts the blame back on you, ahh yes nice boss. It is Thursday here and hope that nothing else happened.
ReplyDeleteTake care, chin up, today is a brand new day.
Hugs Sandi xx
Thanks Sandi! It's getting better. I try to remember what doesn't destroy us only makes us stronger....I'm thinking I'm going to be as strong as an ox :)
